Lazy
K Bar Ranch - Web Site
Just sixteen miles northwest of Tucson, the Lazy K
Bar Guest Ranch nestles against the Tucson Mountains overlooking the
Santa Cruz Valley. The original homestead building, built in 1933,
serves as the main office. The guest ranch operation started in 1936
with only six rooms, a small dining room and horses to ride.
Currently
owned by Bill Scott and managed by Carol Moore, the ranch is run on
the "Arizona Plan". That is, all facilities and
entertainment are included in one nightly rate with a three night
minimum stay. The Lazy K Bar is a well-rounded vacation destination
offering riding, swimming, tennis, hiking or relaxing - something for
everyone in the family. Guests also enjoy the ranch's spacious library
with numerous books and can meet before dinner at the ranch's Long
Horn Bar for a cocktail. While there are no televisions or telephones
in the rooms, there is a large screen television in the main lodge. At
the Lazy K Bar you will enjoy home cooking, a family atmosphere, and
the spectacular Arizona desert.
We have a lot of singles and single parents with
children that are delighted with the no-hassle, safe environment the
ranch offers. The same attraction draws grandparents taking their
grandchildren on that memorable vacation.
